About the Role

  • Capture video footage and photographs of our safety operations, team activities, and race events for a documentary film project 

  • Document emergency responses, fire suppression operations, and driver extrications from safe positions 

  • Film training sessions, team meetings, and behind-the-scenes moments 

  • Travel with the team to all job sites throughout the season 

  • Capture audio alongside video footage 

  • Work with GoPro equipment for POV and static shots as needed 

  • Help us tell the story of what we do and why it matters 

If you have social media content creation skills and want to contribute in that area as well, that’s a bonus—but it’s not part of the core role

Requirements

Required: - Own video camera equipment - Familiarity with sound recording equipment - Ability to work in fast-paced, stressful environments - Strong communication skills - Coachability and willingness to learn - Passion for motorsports or willingness to develop one - Reliable transportation to travel with the team across Southeast Nebraska - Commitment to attend team meetings and training sessions

Bonus Skills: - Video editing experience - Additional camera equipment or specialized gear - Experience with documentary filmmaking or action sports videography - Understanding of racing operations - Social media content creation skills

Essential Qualities: - Safety-conscious mindset - Team-oriented attitude - Enthusiasm and dedication - Ability to stay focused during high-pressure situations - Respect for emergency response protocols - Eye for capturing authentic, compelling moments


Time Commitment

  • Follow the team to all jobs throughout the race season

  • Approximately 5 hours per event

  • Multiple events per week during peak season

  • Required attendance at team meetings (monthly, 1 hour)

  • Required attendance at training sessions (Saturday mornings, 20-30 minutes)

  • Year-round commitment preferred


Equipment Provided

  • GoPro cameras for POV and static shots

  • Access to team equipment and vehicles for filming opportunities

  • Support and guidance on capturing our operations

Four Corners Fire & Safety is One BadAss Safety Team specializing in motorsports fire and safety services across Southeast Nebraska. We’re a passionate 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to protecting drivers and fans at race tracks throughout the region.
